The heart of this unit is of course a gas cylinder containing a
U-shaped and filled with xenon [Xe one inert gas]. The tube was
inserted with an anode and a cathode at the tip end and a grating
fire.Diode D1 and D2 along with the condenser C1 and C2 form a voltage
multiplier to raise the voltage to 600 V.voltage direction is given to
the anode and cathode of the tube.
